Microsoft Azure – Managed Disk SSD Bursting

Welcome!

This quick update will be on storage within Azure and some new additions to the Premium SSD managed disk offering.

This new feature allows smaller disks that would normally be capped at a lower maximum throughput (~50MBps) to reach heights such as 170MBps for operations like starting the Operating System or services related to compute heavy applications.
